Gamestop Rumors and More

You may have heard about the Gamestop rumor the other day, which is if you want to reserve a PS3 or Wii, then you will need to trade in at least $50 worth of gaming items, and you may not even be guaranteed a Wii on day one.  I went to Gamestop yesterday to get the full scoop. 

When I asked the manager at Gamestop on reserving the Wii, she said that they had no idea when you’ll be able to do that.  I told them about the Gamestop rumor from the internet, and they said that they haven’t heard of this rumor.  So it is guaranteed not to be true. 

Next, I noticed that they were moving the games around.  The entire Gamecube “USED” section was gone from the “NEW” section.  But then I looked elsewhere and saw that the “USED” Cube section was on the other side of the room.  Hmmm.  I asked the employees on why they are remodeling two months before the two system launches.  They said that they want to be ahead.  Hmmm…WII KIOSKS COMING SOONER THAN YOU THINK (HINT…HINT).

Lastly, I’ve acquired the latest Wii list.  The dates are STILL range from Oct. 31st-Nov. 19th and beyond, BUT THREE FIRST-PARTY GAMES ARE ON THE LIST!!!  Plus, the next Sonic Wii game.

• Excite Truck (11/20/06)
• Warioware: Smooth Moves (1/15/07)
• Sonic and the Secret Rings (3/6/07)

In addition, Elebits has been pushed NOW to Dec. 12th, for what I don’t know.  Rampage IS a launch title (Nov. 1st).
