Adventurous swordsman: prepare for battle.  The fantasy adventure fighter is coming to a land NEAR YOU!

We’re sure Koei was hoping it would have the only Wii game with the word “Sengoku” in the title, but Capcom wasn’t about to let that happen. Continuing its support of Nintendo’s new console, Capcom announced today plans to bring the Sengoku Basara series to the Wii. The series is known as Devil Kings in the states.

The new Sengoku Basara title will hit both the Wii and the PS2. Details on the game itself, and specifics on how the Wiimote will be utilized, were not announced.

Sengoku Basara 2 was released a few weeks back for the Japanese PS2 and has managed shipments of nearly 300,000 units so far. The sequel has not yet seen stateside release.
