Etrian Odyssey for DS!

A new Nintendo DS dungeon crawler for DS is expected in early 2007, thanks the DS loving ATLUS! 

Atlus USA has announced that it has acquired the North America publishing rights to Etrian Odyssey for the Nintendo DS. Known as Sekaiju no Meikyuu in Japan, the dungeon crawl style role-playing game features a considerable development staff, including Kazuya Niinou (Trauma Center: Under the Knife) as its director, with story design by Shigeo Komori (Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner) and sound design by Yuzo Koshiro (Actraiser, Streets of Rage). Etrian Odyssey is currently scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2007. “This game revitalizes the classic spirit of exploration and adventure for a new platform and a new audience,� said project lead Nich Maragos. “The hand-drawn map feature along with the lush graphics will make gamers want to get lost in the striking forest world of Etria.�
