Sensitivity and Calibration August 19, 2006
After hearing about the problems with some of the FPS’s I came to a conclusion, it was the Sesitivity. While this may be a problem that the devolpers know about, will they be able to fix it so the FPS experience is perfected, or is it more than that?
Let me just get over a question I have been asked alot about the Wii: How do you calibrate the controller? The short answer: You dont. The Wii uses the three LEDs in the control strip to provide a central calibration point that eliminates this problem by recalibrating the controller’s position every so often. So basically you wont have to calibrate cause it should adjust fine. With only the need of one if no calibration at all.
What needs to be thought about are new systems of gameplay on the Wii. It has a special controller so it should have special genre’s. Hopefully, the devolpers are seeing this.
