Untitled Cube Game from Humongous August 17, 2006

It’s good to see that the Cube is still not being ignored by many. 

Steam Shovel, the gaming division of Myrtle Beach, SC based 803 Productions, announced that it has partnered with Atari-owned Humongous ( Backyard Sports series) to develop an untitled video game for the PlayStation 2, Gamecube and PC. The tentative release date is Christmas 2006. In addition, Steam Shovel representatives commented that the company is currently acquiring motion capture systems for future projects, with an eventual goal is to create full projects on handheld platforms. “This project is expanding the scope of what Myrtle Beach and South Carolina has to offer,” said 803 partner André Pope. “We’re showcasing local talent on an international scale.”
