Brain Age Sells 4 Miliion Copies

Four million people have Brain Age.  It’s a large figure.  Really, I never liked the game, but I guess I am one of the 4 million!  Congrats.

All around the world, people love training their brains.

Nintendo announced today that Brain Age: Train Your Brain In Minutes A Day! has set a new world record for video game sales, topping four million copies sold worldwide. Most of the title’s sales were in Japan, where it has sold over three million copies since its initial release fifteen months ago, but Brain Age is also showing signs of strength in America and Europe, where it has passed five hundred thousand copies sold in each market.

Part of Brain Age‘s success may be due to its simplicity, which allows for even those who’ve never played a video game before to easily pick up and play it. The title is still performing well in all three major markets, and was the second-highest seller in the US during the last week of July, behind only New Super Mario Bros.
