NBA Street for Wii Not Likely

Okay, the best basketball video game of all-time is NOT coming to the Wii.  I am highly saddened. 

NBA Street, the trick shooting, sick dribbling, high flying basketball game from Electronic Arts will not be seeing the light on Nintendo’s next console, Wii.

The next iteration of the popular extreme basketball game will be released sometime in spring 2007, but for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 only.

Executive producer of NBA Street, Wil Mozell, said, “The power of the next-generation hardware gives us the horsepower to break new ground for consumers, making it the perfect stage for the next iteration of NBA Street,”

EA has announced several Wii titles, with the only confirmed traditional sports title, Madden NFL 2007.
