North Carolina Game Bill Overturned

Again, another game bill has gone through the toilet… 

According to the ever vigilant Game Politics, we’ve received word that the North Carolina videogame legislation, known as S2, didn’t manage to make it through the House by the end of the session.The bill managed to make it through the State Senate rather rapidly (for lawmakers), speeding from its filing on January 26, 2005, to being adopted by the Senate on April 20, 2005. A staff member of the bill’s sponsor, State Senator Julia Boseman, confirmed that it the Senator was reelected this November she would revive the legislation in the next session.
