PS3 Controller to Have 3-D Motion Sensing Possibility

Sony’s PS3 controller will act like the Wii! Sony, I hope you burn in…you know what.

A Japanese web site, Tech-On!, reported that Sony has filed a new patent that allows for game control similar to Nintendo’s Wii.

Their new interface can make a game system, in this case, PS3, view a controller on a two-dimensional image and fix its exact position on a three-dimensional plane. The interface is specifically designed to let players control action within the game, much like Wii.
