Nintendojo Rumors
More rumors…Are they true or are they false?
Rumor has it that Microsoft is going to lower Xbox 360′s price to better compete with Wii. Well forget it, because they’re not cutting any prices. Wait, yes they are. Wait, no they’re not. Well, GameCube is definitely getting another price drop. I saw promotional material that says GameCube is getting a new low price. I mean, I didn’t see it, but a friend of mind did.
Yet forget about the past. Nintendo will definitely announce Revolution’s real name at the GDC. Wait, we found out before the GDC even began; Revolution’s real name is Nintendo Go. I mean it’s Wii, but that a fake. Nintendo’s just flexing its superior brain age with that little joke. The name’s actually Nintendo RS– you know, as in Revolution System, just like Nintendo DS. It makes perfect sense. And you know the vertical stand that comes with Wii? Well, that’s actually a power supply. I mean, that makes perfect sense too. /p>
I even know when Wii will release: just after Halloween. I mean October. I mean October in Japan. It will be November 6 in North America. I mean September. I mean late November.
By the time it does release, some important publishers will have released some major titles. Sega Saturn classic NiGHTS will be getting a new Wii version, but Castlevania most certainly will not. Sources also say that Ubisoft is hard at work on a sequel to Beyond Good and Evil. Sources even closer to Ubisoft, such as Ubisoft, say otherwise.
Wii will, however, debut with Nintendo’s in-house baseball sim Pennant Chase Baseball. Nintendo decided to move the GameCube title to its next generation console months ago, so it should be ready for the system’s launch. Luckily, Zelda fans didn’t have to wait nearly as long for Twilight Princess. The long-awaited entry into one of Nintendo’s most popular franchises released May 15.
Speaking of Twilight Princess, the next Zelda title will definitely utilize Wii’s freehand remote. I mean it won’t. I mean it will. I mean…
