Is anyone else annoyed that since E3, both Sony and Nintendo have basically gone silent about their respective new systems? Seriously, flip through any gaming mag, browse any website, and you won’t find jack s*** (in terms of new stuff) about the PS3 and the Wii. Thank the lord for third-party publishers. Otherwise, we’d all be turning into Microsoft-exclusive publications.

And another thing: Don’t Sony and Nintendo realize that staying quiet for such an extended amount of time just keeps the spotlight on the 360? Isn’t the whole point of pre-launch about getting consumers to think about YOUR system, not the competition’s? And don’t tell me that games aren’t ready to be shown during these summer months; most developers have weekly milestones that they could show the press and pull new assets from.

Microsoft must love this silent treatment. Now, if only Gates’ gang thought ahead and scheduled some of their own 360 games to release during this downtime…
