Rune Factory Length

This is shaping up to be one of the coolest RPG’s to hit Japan for the DS.  And it’s Wi-Fi too.

When it comes to games like Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing, it seems like you could play the game endlessly. While there are goals to be achieved, there is also free play that you can enjoy at your own leisure. It looks as if Rune Factory will be no different. The developers of Rune Factory were asked how long it would take to complete the game, and while they gave the answer of 30 to 40 hours, they elaborated on the subject. First off, it will take 30 to 40 hours to complete the main quest in the game, that time doesn’t factor in any of the side-quests you could take on. On top of that, the point was made that you could also roam around endlessly, doing what you please. We have known for awhile that Rune Factory is very closely related to Harvest Moon, now we have an idea of just what the developers meant.
