Bestbuy.com Sales June 18th-24th

The DS continues to dominate.  WHAT A SURPRISE!!! 

It was another great week for DS on the console game sales chart. The weekly chart, compiled by Bestbuy.com shows that three DS titles ended the week in the top ten, in a field of mostly PS2 and Xbox games.

Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day was the number one game for the week. It has become clear that Nintendo’s “Touch Generations” branding has been a success. Following in second for the week was the trusty New Super Mario Brothers which has remained in the top three spots for several weeks.

The other DS title in the top ten was Mario Kart DS, which made a return to the list the week prior. Although it has dropped slightly, it continues to sell.

Curious was the lack of any Xbox 360 titles on the Bestbuy.com list. All remaining titles were split between the original Xbox and PS2.
