When it comes to gaming news it’s pretty obvious we’ve hit summer time. For Nintendo fans especially, there really isn’t much we can tell you – even “Go play Resident Evil 4 again!” is getting a bit old – that will actually make the days go faster, or make Wii hit shelves sooner. We’ve got a few months of slow news, but consider it to be the calm before the storm. Fall will be hitting before we realize it, and you’ll be caught in your room counting quarters hitting yourself for not saving more cash for the Wii launch. You’ll say to yourselves, “Why oh why did I get so many Mountain Dew Slurpees at 7/11? Bozon even told me I’d do this!”
Alright… maybe I’ll be the only one saying it, but that’s not the point. The point is despite a few slow news days now and then IGN can still throw one heck of a summer party, and there are still plenty of reasons to stick around. After all, only Moms tell you to “get some exercise,” and we don’t look like Moms, do we? No.
