We all thought of it the first time we ever saw the Wiimote. How cool would a Star Wars game be on the Wii? The Wiimote lends itself almost TOO perfectly to a Star Wars game, which could allow us to finally take a lightsaber to our hands. As time went on, LucasArts has been very quiet on the front. They haven’t come out and said they are working on a Star Wars game, but they haven’t denied it either. From time to time we hear some rumblings, the last one being a few words from a LucasArts team member hinting that something was in the works. Now we have this…True or untrue. There still hasn’t been any confirmation of this or any of the previous allegations. C’mon, Lucasarts…we need to know?

Danish gaming site, GameReactor, “confirms� that a Star Wars game is in the works for the Wii. The story claims that you will be taking control of the lightsaber, running around, slicing through enemies like butter. The only problem is that their story gives no source as to where they obtained this info. I guess we are lead to believe that LucasArts got in touch with GameReactor personally. This story is most likely bogus, but as long as we keep pressing the issue of a Star Wars game on the Wii, the better a chance we have of catching LucasArts eye.
