Nintendo has updated its Super Smash Bros. Brawl website with official bios and new screenshots for some of the characters in the game. Below, we’ve provided a description of Metal Gear’s own Snake for your reading pleasure, as well as the first look at the Metal Gear inspired arena. You’ll be fighting Snake on the battlefield soon enough, so consider this an opportunity for a little recon. The following was taken directly from Nintendo’s profile page:

Snake? Snake! SNAAAAAAAKE! The unexpected participant from Metal Gear Solid!
When this was first announced to the media, it was greeted with shouts of joy that resembled screams.

After much consideration, we decided to have Snake refrain from using real-world guns—instead, he’ll use lots of explosives.

What kinds of attacks will Snake unleash when he steps onto a new stage?
