Japan going bonkers for NSMB
Japan is going absolutely insane for New Super Mario Bros. The title has already crossed the one million sold mark, and doesn’t show signs of stopping…or does it? While the demand for the game is not dying down at all, some eager gamers looking forward to Mario’s new adventure might have to wait a little while longer. Apparently Japanese retailers have less than 500,000 units left, and Nintendo doesn’t have any more to ship to stores next week. The demand for the game has been so high that Nintendo hasn’t been able to keep up with it, and production of software is falling behind. Nintendo is said to be working as hard as possible to meet the demand, but the Japanese public may have to make due with those 500,000 units or less for a few weeks.
