Hochiminh’s Rant Day 9
Now that the dust has settled from E3, has your views about the Nintendo Wii changed or stayed the same?
Were you intrigued by the lineup of versatile demos, the innovative uses of the Wiiremote, the accessories (the shell or light-gun attachment), the online Opera browser, the Virtual Console, the graphics?
I, for one, was suprised about the publicity at what could very well win the next console war: the Nintendo Wii. The lines were freaki’n enormous over the other two systms. Who would of expected that the tiny underdog console with its crazy remote could cause that much of a stir? Well, folks, I think our Revolution is here and now and vastly approaching!
Most of our questions have been answered so far, except for the price, other launch titles, and Virtual Console titles. From the new Ip’s that were shown from Nintendo to the strong third-party Wii offering’s, Nintendo shined as bright as Polaris and as sharp as a knife.
I am going to need to save up my money if I can. I got house mortgage and bills. I’m working as much overtime as I can at my hot-dog joint to save up my money. When the Nintendo Wii comes out, I am going to buy:
-at least one extra remote
-one memory card
-Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
-The Legend of Zelda: TP
-Red Steel
-Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz
-Madden 2007
-Wii Sports
-Excite Truck
-a charger for the Remotes (hopefully)
How much will this cost? The system will probably be $200, another remote $30, one memory card $20, 6 games=$300, and so that is about $550 plus tax. PUT IT ON MY CREDIT CARD PLEASE!
