Here is some LONG overdue news:

At the Game Developer Conference this year, a new DS game was announced: Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.

The graphics are Wind Waker style and the view is usually overhead. But the game does look promising, making interesting use of the touch screen.

See the map on the top screen in the second picture? Just by pressing a button, you can move it to the bottom to write your notes.

And then, another highlight of the game is the fact that you can go out to sea, like Wind Waker. But, you don’t use the King of the Red Lions, but some kind of steam ship. The player charts a course before he/she sets sail and shoots at enemies with a cannon.

Well, we have something good to look forward to. Until then, try pwning your opponents on Metroid with the Omega Cannon and memorizing your runes on Lost Magic.
