Wii’s Mystery Racer Narrowed Down to 4 May 5, 2006

Last week Nintendo’s Reggie Fills-Aime let it slip that at this years E3 Nintendo would be showing a racing game that would define how racers should be done on the Wii. Rumour has it that today over at IGN’s Insider boards a Nintendo VIP posted this short list of what this title might be: Excitebike, Waverace, F-Zero and Mario Kart.

Mario Kart has been rumoured to be hitting Nitnendo next-gen console since an interview with Nintendo Power yielded that a gentleman who worked on the DS version was interested in a Wii adaptation.  Fours short days til the pre-E3 press conference. Shoud be a good one.

    I think it's Mario Kart. If you watch the Nintendo World Appearance video, Reggie drops the secret that they will be showing a racing game after a question about Mario Kart DS, as if it spurred his memory.
