Blitz: The League

Yesterday IGN interviewed Midway’s Kujawa about their Wii title ‘Blitz: The League’. According to Kujawa, Blitz will make special use of the Wii controller, and may use the nunchaku accelerometer and force feedback.

But, the game will not be playable at e3, but will be released late this year.

When IGN asked whether Midway intended to tone down the game, rated M, for the Wii, a family console, Kujawa replied,

Wii isn’t just a family console, it’s an all-inclusive console! The console name stands for “We”, right? Seriously, though, there are going to be plenty of Mature gamers buying the platform – I know I will. All that aside, you can be rest assured that Blitz: The League won’t pull any punches. We’re not into censorship. That’s not what we’re about.

So that’s that. See the full interview here.
