This Week: What You Missed March 20, 2010

Filed under: News, Videos, Wii/DSiWare — PopnFrsh @ 1:43 pm

Although we could call this the Wiikly WiiCap, that would be extreme overkill in the use of Wii in the title, lol.  Saturday is unfortunately a usually slow day for new news and to complement the others on the site who bring you so many links to photos and videos to check out, here is just a brief smattering of some of the interesting topics that appeared through our WiiNintendo gateway.

RATOF DS 04 (DS) Runaway A Twist of Fate New Images Show a Little More

Focus Home Interactive is pleased to release a new batch of screenshots from the Nintendo DS edition of Runaway “A Twist of Fate”, the award-winning adventure game. After having captured the hearts of PC gamers, “A Twist of Fate” is ready to perform again on Nintendo’s handheld system. These images beautifully show the work achieved by developer Cyanide to adapt this superb adventure game for the DS.

Thanks to Runaway : A Twist of Fate, adventure has never been so beautiful. It is based on a deep story full of twists that often humorously pays tribute to movies or cult series. The numerous puzzles and mysteries that highlight the adventure will put players’ brains to a severe test.

Runaway : A Twist of Fate on DS immerses us in a gorgeous adventure, somewhere between a game and a big animation movie, thanks to highly detailed and superb hand drawn sets, omnipresent humor, colorful characters and hilarious dialogs.

Sonic 4 Update March 18, 2010

Today SEGA updated the Sonic the Hedgehog 4 website with some nice tidbits. First they have added the first image of one of the four stages in the game, Splash Hill, which looks and possibly pays homage to the Sonic the Hedgehog games of old. On the site it also says that a video is incoming.

Sonic 4 Logo Sonic 4 Update

In response to a Blog Post from earlier this week on the site, they have also added in the full track mp3 download for Act 1 the Splash Hill Zone (composed by Jun Senoue, composer of Sonic and Knuckles and others).

Definitely check out the official site for more updates and to get the track. Remember Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 hits WiiWare this Summer.
